About the General Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance is a pivotal executive role ensuring governance, quality, compliance, and safety are at the heart of our organisation. Based in Warrnambool or Hamilton, with regular regional travel, this role leads the Quality & Compliance function, driving continuous improvement, embedding a strong OHS culture, and ensuring alignment with NDIS and sector standards.
You will provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board, oversee governance and compliance frameworks, manage incident reporting and risk registers, and lead key committees including Quality & Compliance, Risk, and Clinical Governance. With a focus on both employee experience and participant experience, you will ensure that quality, safety, and compliance are not just obligations, but enablers of excellence.

About the Successful Candidate
You are a values-driven leader with experience in disability, aged care, health, or community services and a proven ability to build systems that deliver safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. You thrive in governance and compliance settings, and you have the interpersonal skills to engage meaningfully with staff, participants, Boards, regulators, and community stakeholders.
To be successful, you will bring:

Diploma, Graduate or Post Graduate Level degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Corporate Governance, Audit or Quality Management System, OH&S, Allied health, Business, Risk, or Compliance, or another relevant field.

Experience leading quality and compliance systems in complex service environments.

Strong understanding of governance, accreditation, and risk frameworks.

High-level communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

A mindset focused on enhancing employee and participant experience.

Eligibility to hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a current driver’s licence.
